Almost all Huawei mobile phones have the Wi-Fi Direct feature included natively. You can use Wi-Fi Direct on Huawei phone without any third-party apps. WiFi Direct allows us to connect two compatible devices wirelessly without internet connection, and quickly transfer files without the hassle of cables. It is like Bluetooth. But Wi-Fi Direct is easier to use, we don’t need to pair two devices together. Best of all, the Wi-Fi range and transfer speeds are significantly higher than those of Bluetooth. It is the perfect solution when you need to share big files between mobile phones, such as those heavy apps, movies, zip files.
We use a Huawei Nova in the demo. The user interfaces might vary across different phone models. If you use other Android phones, such as Samsung, Huawei, Lenovo, ZTE, Nexus, Xiaomi, refer to this guide to use Wi-Fi Direct to share files on Android phones.
