Need to cut off the air time at the beginning or end of your voice recording? The stock Audio Recorder app on LG mobile phones does not only allow users to easily capture any sound, voice nearby but also trim down the sound recordings. Here is how you can trim a sound recording on LG mobile phone.
Run the Audio Recorder app on your LG mobile. If the audio is not saved yet, refer to these steps to record audio on LG mobile phone first.
Tap on to open the Recordings list (list with speaker symbol) from the top right corner. Tap to play and select a recording you like to edit.
Then touch the Trim button(scissors icon). Two trim grabbers (two vertical lines) show up at the beginning and ending of the sound wave. Move them inward and play to select the portion of the sound recording you like to keep. Tap on the Done button (check icon). The Save dialog pops up with two choices: Overwrite and New file. You can choose to save the trimmed audio as a new file or overwrite the original recording file on your LG mobile phone.
