Generally we don’t need to transfer apps from computer to mobile phone. We can simply download apps from Google Play or third-party Android markets, like Huawei AppGallery, Mi App Store, on our mobile phones. Sometimes however we may downloaded apps/games from the third-party Android Market or websites onto our PC and saved them as APK files. In this case, you will need to firstly transfer these apps and games to your phone using data cable, WiFi or cellular data. Then go to your phone settings and enable app installation from unknown source before you can install these apps and games downloaded and received from your computer. Check out details below.
Transfer apps from PC to mobile phone
As we mentioned above, there are various ways to send the apps or APK files from our computer to phone. We recommend some free file transfer apps, such as SHAREit file transfer, Zapya file transfer. Both are free, cross-platform and wireless transfer apps.
We will use SHAREit transfer in this demo. Firstly download and install its Windows version on your PC and its Android version on your mobile.
Connect both PC and phone to the same Wi-Fi network. Run the transfer app on your computer. Run the transfer app on your phone, tap on the Share button at the top right corner to expand a drop-down menu, choose Connect PC from the menu. Your phone will search all available devices connected to the same Wi-Fi. You should find your PC name on the Connect PC screen. Tap on your PC name to connect.

Once your phone and PC are connected. Go to your computer, find the Android apps(apk files) in the file explorer, drag and drop them to the transfer app to send it to your phone.

Install APK files on Android phone
Now you should receive the apps in SHAREit app on Android phone. Tap on the received APK file to install it on your phone. Before you install them however you have to tweak the settings to allow installation of apps from third-party sources.
You can also find all the received apps from Internal storage > SHAREit > apps. Use the stock file manager or any third-party file explorer apps, like ES file manager, FS file explorer, to find them and install them on your phone.
