Stitch images on Android

Sometimes we may need to stitch images on the phone. For example, you may like to combine photos to make a panorama, you may want to join multiple screenshots to explain the steps for a tutorial. We will show you how to stitch several photos on Android mobile using a free app, LongShot for Android, in this guide.

Stitch images on Android mobile phone

Run the app on your mobile phone, you will see three sections: Capture Screenshot, Capture web page and Select images.

Tap Select Images to access photos, screenshots, downloaded images on your Android phone. On the next screen, select the photos, screenshots or images you wish to stitch and tap on Done at the top right corner. Next, you can hold and drag the images to change order as desired.

Tap Join to combine two or more screenshots or pictures vertically. You can fine tune the joining part. Or you can choose Configure to change the merging settings. For example, you can enable auto stitching, change direction from vertical to horizontal, remove status bar from screenshots, etc.

Finally tap Save button at the top right corner to stitch images, screenshots or photos on your mobile phone. It will be saved in PNG format to album named ‘longshot‘ in the Gallery app on your Android phone.

Android image stitching extra tips

If you need, you can go to the Settings within the LongShot app to change a different location to save the images, another format to save them, reduce image quality to get small files, etc.
