Gmail is a part of Google Mobile Services, along with other apps like Chrome, YouTube, Drive, Maps, Photos, Hangouts, and Play Music. Unlock your Tecno phone, find and open Google folder, you can find Gmail app there. Tap to launch Gmail app. Alternatively you can quickly find and open up Gmail app from the HiOS A-Z App Launcher which provides us quick access to any apps on Tecno mobile phones. If it is the first time you run Gmail app, the welcome screen opens with new features of the Gmail app. Proceed to next step, you will be prompted to add an new email address.
After that, the email service and account types selection screen opens. On this Set up email screen, you will see Google, Outlook, Hotmail, Live mail, Yahoo, Exchange & Office 365 and other.
Choose Yahoo, then sign in with your Yahoo account username or email address. hit Next.
On the next screen type in your Yahoo mail account password.
After the validation, you will be prompted to grant Gmail app the access to your Yahoo mail account.
Tap on Agree, then enable or disable the Yahoo account options according to your needs. For example, you can customize the sync frequency, enable notification for incoming emails, enable email attachment automatic download when connected to Wi-fi, etc.
