Unlock your Tecno phone. Find Gmail app from Google folder, then launch it. Or quickly find and open it up from the HiOS A-Z Launcher. When you run it for the first time, you will see the welcome screen with key features introduced. After that you will get the Add an email address screen like this.
Tap on Add an email address, you will be presented with various email services or account types, such as Google email, Outlook, Hotmail, Live Mail, Yahoo Mail, Exchange Mail, Office 365 and so on.
We are going to add a Hotmail account to Tecno mobile phone via the Gmail for Android app, thus choose Outlook, Hotmail and Live. Then input your full email address on the Sign in screen and tap on Next button to proceed.
If the email address is valid, you will be taken to the authentication screen where you need to provide the correct password for the Hotmail account.
Enter your Hotmail account password, touch the Sign in. When you finished the authentication, the accounts options will provided.
