What to do when your phone heats up?

Under following situations your phone may slightly heat up, such as during charging, charging while still in operation, in hot weather or heated space. These are absolutely normal. If your phone is heating up abnormally, you can resort to the below methods.

  1. You could use Accelerate to shut down apps that cause the heating up.Accelerate On home screen, find and tap Accelerate icon.
  2. You could use App Freeze to freeze less frequently used apps. Entering App Freeze Find icon Phone Manager on home screen, tap Phone Manager -> App Manager -> App Freeze.
  3. Try to install apps from Google Play in order to avoid apps of unknown sources that could cause abnormal operation and heating.
  4. Try to restart your phone if necessary.

What to do when your phone is not charging or charging slows down?

Please follow the solutions listed below when charging slowly.

  1. Battery of larger capacity(over 3000mAH) takes longer to charge, which is absolutely normal.
  2. Please use original charger and cable from itel brand.
  3. Please check whether there is rust or dust on the USB port and USB cable jack. If so, please clean it carefully.
  4. Please check if the USB port is solid and cable well connected.
  5. Please make sure your battery is originally from itel Mobile.

What to do when mobile data gets slow?

When internet is in low speed, there could be problems such as slow loading, connectivity error while you are browsing, using Facebook, WhatsApp etc. You can resort to the below solutions when this happens.

  1. Check network signal. If signal is weak, try again when you are in a different location or reach out to your carrier to address signal coverage problem.
  2. Check your phone is whether in 3G or 4G network (only for 4G smartphone) . Try again when you are in a different location or reach out to your carrier to address signal coverage problem.
  3. There may be background apps consuming your data. You could use Accelerate to clean up background apps and accelerate internet speed.Accelerate On home screen, find and tap Accelerate icon.

How to speed up your phone?

  1. We do not recommend installing excessive amount of apps as they may slow down phone speed. Try to install the ones you find mostly useful.
  2. We recommend keeping no less than 500M available storage space.

  4. You could use Accelerate to clean up memory and background apps.Accelerate On home screen, find and tap Accelerate icon.
  5. You could also use Cleanup & Acceleration to clear cache, junk files etc.Enter Cleanup & Acceleration Find Phone Manager icon on home screen, tap Phone Manager -> Cleanup & Acceleration.
  6. Some apps(such as large scale games, videos) require longer time to load compared with other apps. Please give it a moment when launching.
  7. Restarting your phone also pushes for a faster speed.

What to do when battery drains too fast ?

As smart phone is equipped with a smarter processor and offers much more powerful functions, it consumes more battery when compared with a feature phone. However you can resort to the below methods to optimize battery life.

  1. When Hotspot feature is on power drains faster, we suggest you keeping it off when it is not in use.
  2. We suggest you adjusting your screen brightness if you feel it is overly bright. You could also activate Adaptive brightness mode if your phone supports it.
  3. You can choose to turn off Mobile data, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS etc. when not in use. Please be noted that when you turn off Mobile data or Wi-Fi, you will not receive any messages from social IM, like WhatsApp, Facebook.
  4. Battery drains fast when Mobile network is weak at your place. When you are in a different location with better network signal power consumption will drop to normal level. Helpful
  5. Games and videos are heavy power consumers, we suggest you limiting usage of such when battery is low.

  1. Trying to download apps keep on saying that there are no space and that you need to clean it up but there’s more than enough space.

    What can I do

    1. try power off, then power on your phone see if any luck. check if there is enough space on the internal storage other than SD card; if you are trying to download and install apps from third-party sources, make sure the app can access your storage and has the permission to install apps from unknown sources.
